Reasons to Get a Tattoo (and Reasons Not To)

It was the mid 90’s I was at the grocery store, there was a women reaching for something and I caught a glimpse of her tattoo. It was the first lower back tattoo I’d seen…it was subtle and very erotic. I had to have one. I put a lot of thought into it. I didn’t want a fad that could be dated and I didn’t want clip art so I designed my own….I would have never guessed the placement would turn out to be a fad in itself.

p.s. - I don’t regret getting the tattoo, in fact I’ll be getting another in a few weeks. I do however regret the placement. I hate the term “tramp stamp” and, in about 40 years, that slang term will be replaced by “gramp stamp”.
